The Art of Hosting Workshop at Pasadena/Hollywood Comedy

Would you like to host comedy shows? Want to know what makes a great host? Or would you even like to learn some basic rules to stand up? Come take the “the Art of Hosting” In this class you’ll be able to develop tools to help you be an effective and present host of any event and show! Whether it is a stand-up comedy show, weddings, award shows, or conferences.

There is a sweet science to Hosting comedy, that not only allows you to develop your skills as a host but as a Comedian and Public Speaker. You must learn the art of listening and paying attention to the comics you introduce the audience to; Who are your 'teammates' in the crowd; and how to incorporate your material naturally.

Lets give you the necessary tools to make you the best Host you can be!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Bileko Aziza Wissa Jr has been performing as a stand up comedian since 2008. He is a graduate of Upright Brigade Citizen(UCB),  and training includes Stand up Comedy at Westide Comedy. He is the Manager at The Hollywood Comedy, students/Comedians at The Hollywood Comedy include beginners to well experienced performers. Bileko has monthly shows which include, “The Bileko Wissa Show”, “Chains & Chaos Comedy Show”, “Da BlakOut Comedy Show”,  "Bileko Wissa Presents Host This!!!" and “The Bantu Boyz Comedy Show”

Bileko is also apart of an Improv troupe called “BlackStreet Boyz” that performs at Westside Comedy.  Bileko Wissa has been seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live and has his own streaming service on Roku and app called “Kitoko TV Network”.

 

Bileko Wissa has a Masters in Biomedical Science & a Masters in Public Health. He was raised in Los Angeles but heritage is from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Loves Jazz, Hip hop, Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
